Change Afoot

  • A new web host: GoDaddy is out; BlueHost is in. BlueHost is cheaper, with a better control panel, more capability, and they don’t hype themselves with ridiculous advertisements come every Superbowl.
  • New blogging software: Textpattern is out; WordPress is in. Textpattern is great, has a wonderful development community and a number of unique functions to commend it. But there were too many little frustrations. WordPress comes highly recommended, but I’m going to test it a bit before I give it the final affirmation
  • New design: which is self-explanatory. This is just me distracting myself from the work I’m actually supposed to be doing.

Sorry for the jumble–I know I do this far too often. Hopefully I’ll have everything back up and in order soon, but knowing me…
